The Seattle Seahawks staged a stunning comeback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, clinching their place in the NFL play-offs.

Rallying from a sixteen-point deficit in the fourth quarter, the Seattle squad emerged victorious 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight win.

While the Rams had already secured a post-season berth earlier on game day, the Seahawks booked their return to the play-offs after a 24-month hiatus.

With this result, the Seahawks have taken over their division's race with a twelve and three record, replacing the Los Angeles, who dropped to the fifth playoff position with an eleven and four standing.

Quarterback Sam Darnold had two interceptions but regrouped to make two touchdown passes, including the tying TD to wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The visitors held a six-point advantage at the break before Kenneth Walker III broke free for a 55-yard scoring dash for the home side.

Rams defensive back Wallace then returned Darnold's initial pick for 56 yards, setting up a short score by Corum on the ensuing snap.
